Email to notes

Keep what matters.
Forward it to Kagazji.

Every account can create a private receiving address. Forward an email from that account’s email, and it becomes an editable note tagged email.

Only the email used for your Kagazji account can forward.

You can use any mail app signed into that email. The original message can be from anyone; the address sending your forward must match your Kagazji account. Another email or alias is not automatically allowed.

  1. Create your receiving address.

Sign in at my.kagazji.in. Open Settings & account → Email to Kagazji → Create my email address.

  2. Wait until it’s ready, then copy.

Settings shows your private @kagazji.in receiving address and its allowed sender. Wait for Ready to receive before copying it. Save it as a contact in your mail app.

  3. Forward from your account email.

The subject becomes the note title. The message, supported formatting, tables and small supported attachments are kept. Kagazji checks your mail provider’s signature as well as the sender address.

  4. Find it in your notebook.

Sync if it hasn’t appeared yet. Edit, tag and file the imported note like any other note. Account settings also shows recent imports.

A note, not another mailbox.

The receiving address imports writing. It does not receive replies as a mailbox, send email or give anyone access to read your notes.

You can pause imports or replace the address with confirmation. Existing notes stay in your notebook.

Made for small things worth keeping.

Up to 8 MB per message, 200 KB of text, 350 KB per attachment and 650 KB of attachments combined. The limit is 100 imports per account in a rolling day.

Oversized or unsupported messages fail delivery. Remote images, tracking and active content are removed; supported basic formatting and tables are retained.

A note about forwarding rules and Apple sign-in.

Automatic forwarding that keeps the original sender’s From address does not meet the account-email rule. Manually forwarding while signed into your account email gives the message your sending address.

Unsigned mail or mail that cannot verify its provider signature cannot import. If Apple sign-in uses a private relay address, another usual email is not authorised automatically. Use a separate Kagazji account created with the email you want to forward from. Google and Apple notebooks remain separate.

An email worth keeping. A note worth finding.
