A few useful answers about writing, accounts, email capture and taking your notes with you.
Do I need an account to write?
No. Open the notebook and start on this device. Sign in when you want account sync. Keep an export of important unsynced writing.
How do I create and find a note?
Use New note to start. Search the note library to find writing, or open its filters to combine conditions. For a passage within an open note, use More → Find in note. ⌘N starts a note on Mac; ⌘K opens quick capture in the web notebook.
Where are my earlier Kagaz notes?
Kagazji is the new public name. Existing accounts and the earlier web address still work. Sign in using the same email or provider to access the same synced notebook. Guest notes saved only in a browser stay at the website where they were written; export them there before importing elsewhere.
Can I forward an email from a different account?
No. The outer sender must be the email used for your receiving Kagazji account, and its provider signature must verify. The original email inside your manual forward can be from anyone. Another mailbox, alias or Apple private relay alternative is not added automatically.
How do I copy or export writing?
Open a note → Share → Copy note, or choose an export format. In the library, select notes for a collection export or export all writing. A combined PDF includes an index. Public copies, shares and exports exclude private password/card blocks.
Are all my notes encrypted?
No. Vault password secrets and card number/secret values are encrypted before sync. Ordinary writing and some private-field metadata are not fully end-to-end encrypted. Read the privacy page for the exact scope.
Where do I download the native apps?
The web notebook is available now. Native iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, Android and Windows apps are in development; there are no public store download links yet. The Watch app is a paired-iPhone companion.
Does Kagazji connect my Grammarly or Copio account?
Grammarly stays in its own installed app, extension or keyboard. Manage its sign-in and permissions there. Copio support is being tested and is not active in production; a connection needs a separate Copio login and explicit consent.
Can I pause or replace my receiving address?
Yes. Open Settings & account → Email to Kagazji. Pause retains your notes and address. Replace asks for confirmation and stops the old address, so update saved contacts and forwarding rules.
How can I get help?
Email contact@bighelpers.in. Describe what happened and which app or browser you used. Do not send passwords, vault passwords or private note content you do not want to share.
